Resumen

La importancia del presente trabajo tiene por objetivo, reconocer a los escaladores y su aporte en el turismo local. Esto ha tomado un significado de apropiación de los foráneos, pero también, el poco interés de la misma comunidad local que cuenta con una mínima o casi nula vinculación directa en el turismo de Suesca. La siguiente investigación de orden mixta también ha logrado obtener el testimonio real de las personas que encontraron en la escalada y el montañismo un estilo de vida deportivo y profesional. En sus inicios este grupo de deportistas se disponían solamente a disfrutar de los atractivos naturales del municipio; logrando hoy en día, un renglón importante en la economía.

Abstract

Surrounded by an exuberant nature, with unbroken streets, colonial houses and a rocky outcrop that rises in the foggy horizon, I decided to start this research in 2013 with the purpose of recognizing the participation of the intrepid and passionate rock climbers. Suesca The objective of this work is to recognize climbers and their contribution to local tourism. This has taken a meaning of appropriation of the foreigners, but also, the little interest of the same local community that has a minimum or almost no direct link in the tourism of Suesca. The following research of mixed order has also managed to obtain the real testimony of the people who found in sport climbing and mountaineering a sporty and professional lifestyle. In its beginnings, this group of sportsmen were only prepared to enjoy the natural attractions of the municipality; achieving today, an important item in the economy.
