| dc.description | Los procedimientos endodónticos regenerativos (PER), se definen como procedimientos de base biológica, que tienen como objetivo inducir el reemplazo de las estructuras afectadas, incluyendo la dentina, los tejidos radiculares, y las células del complejo dentino-pulpar. Objetivos: Describir los hallazgos clínicos y radiográficos en procedimientos endodónticos regenerativos (PER), en la clínica de posgrado de endodoncia de la Universidad Santo Tomás – Bogotá. Período 2010 – 2019. Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo de serie de casos. 10 pacientes cumplieron con los criterios de selección con 11 dientes tratados. Resultados: El 60% de los PER se realizó en niñas, la edad promedio fue de 11.8 años; el 72.7% de los casos tenían antecedente trauma dentoalveolar y el 27.3% caries, los diagnósticos más frecuentes fueron necrosis pulpar y absceso apical crónico con 27.2% cada uno. La revascularización pulpar se realizó en 10 dientes. El protocolo de irrigación más utilizado fue NaOCl al 1% y EDTA al 17%. El medicamento intraconducto más utilizado fue la pasta triantibiótica de Hoshino; El biocerámico de mayor uso fue el MTA. Los 11 dientes se encontraban presentes en boca, 3 dientes presentaban pigmentación coronal. Las pruebas de percusión, palpación , de sensibilidad térmicas y eléctricas fueron negativas ; 8 dientes presentaron elongación radicular y engrosamiento de las paredes del conducto radicular, 9 dientes presentaron selle apical, la cicatrización periapical se observó en todos los dientes. | dc.description.abstract | Regenerative endodontic procedures (PER) are defined as biologically based procedures that aim to induce the replacement of affected structures, including dentin, root tissues, and cells of the dentin-pulp complex. Objectives: To describe the clinical and radiographic findings in regenerative endodontic procedures (PER), in the postgraduate endodontics clinic of the Santo Tomás University - Bogotá. Period 2010 - 2019. Method: A retrospective descriptive study of a series of cases was carried out. 10 patients met the selection criteria with 11 treated teeth. Results: 60% of the PER were performed in girls, the average age was 11.8 years; 72.7% of the cases had a history of dentoalveolar trauma and 27.3% caries, the most frequent diagnoses were pulpal necrosis and chronic apical abscess with 27.2% each. Pulpal revascularization was performed on 10 teeth. The most used irrigation protocol was 1% NaOCl and 17% EDTA. The most used intracanal medication was Hoshino's triantibiotic paste; The most widely used bioceramic was MTA. All 11 teeth were present in the mouth, 3 teeth had coronal pigmentation. Percussion, palpation, thermal and electrical sensitivity tests were negative; 8 teeth presented root elongation and thickening of the root canal walls, 9 teeth presented apical sealing, periapical scarring was observed in all teeth. Conclusions: The application of PER techniques improves the long-term prognosis of immature permanent teeth affected as a consequence of dentoalveolar trauma and pulpal and periapical pathologies. | spa |
