Resumen

Los fenómenos migratorios han crecido exponencialmente recientemente, debido a los últimos cambios en la sociedad que de alguna forma también han modificado el comportamiento migratorio de las personas. Estos cambios han dejado en evidencia que las políticas migratorias actuales son obsoletas y que no se acomodan a las necesidades de los migrantes, por lo que los gobiernos deberían empezar a tomar nuevas medidas y alternativas que sí satisfagan la realidad actual de las migraciones y tengan un efecto práctico y no solo teórico como ha sido hasta ahora. Es clave, que la flexibilización y actualización de las políticas migratorias se haga teniendo como pilar fundamental el estudio y entendimiento del comportamiento del migrante, para que de esta forma se tomen decisiones apropiadas y precisas, capaces de ordenar y facilitar la migración segura, legal y regular.

Abstract

Migratory phenomena have been growing exponentially lately, due to the recent changes in society, that have also affected people’s migratory behavior. These changes have shown that the current migratory policies are obsolete and do not suit the migrants’ needs, therefore the governments should start making decisions that help the reality of migration and do have a practical effect and not only a theoretical one. It is key that the migratory policies are updated based on the study and understanding of migrants’ behavior, in order to make right and accurate decisions, that are able to order and help the safe, legal and regular migration.
