Pasantía desarrollada en la secretaría de planeación y obras del municipio de Boyacá-Boyacá

Abstract

This document corresponds to the internship carried out in the Municipality of Boyacá, Department of Boyacá, within the department corresponding to the Secretariat of Planning and Works, where the activities established by the entity and approved by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universidad Santo Tomás sectional Tunja, were developed.

For the fulfillment of the mission of the Secretariat of Planning and Works it is necessary to have professionals in the area of civil engineering to support and supervise the public works projects that are in execution and those that will be proposed in different sectors for the current administration, as well as the monitoring of projects that are processed at the municipal, departmental and national level.

During the development of the internship, technical knowledge acquired throughout the training of the professional career in the different areas of Civil Engineering was applied to support the supervision of the different works, including the issuance of reports on a monthly and/or weekly basis, management and feeding of machinery and equipment logs, field visits, administrative support, document organization, correspondence and activities related to the execution of public works contracts, under the supervision of the official in charge of the secretariat.
