dc.descriptionLa cadena de suministro farmacéutica en América Latina es un sistema crítico y altamente complejo, cuya estabilidad es clave para garantizar el acceso oportuno a medicamentos. La pandemia de COVID-19 evidenció su fragilidad estructural, especialmente en países como Colombia, Brasil y México, donde existen dependencias externas, limitaciones logísticas y baja digitalización. En este contexto, la resiliencia logística surge como una estrategia de innovación que permite anticipar, adaptarse y recuperarse ante disrupciones, transformando la gestión tradicional en una ventaja competitiva y en un mecanismo para proteger la salud pública
dc.description.abstractThe pharmaceutical supply chain in Latin America is a critical and highly complex system, the stability of which is key to ensuring timely access to medicines. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed its structural fragility—particularly in countries such as Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico—due to external dependencies, logistical constraints, and low levels of digitalization. Against this backdrop, logistical resilience emerges as an innovation strategy that enables the ability to anticipate, adapt to, and recover from disruptions, transforming traditional management into a competitive advantage and a mechanism for safeguarding public health.
