En este contexto que surge la presente propuesta para la renovación de la Plaza de Mercado del municipio de San Rafael, con la implementación de programas y estrategias complementarias, que permitan, en parte, reducir la inequidad entre el campo y lo urbano. Para ello, por medio del análisis urbano, identificación de potencialidades
y determinantes en el municipio, consultando las dinámicas presentes en los últimos 20 años, se buscó la articulación de la plaza de mercado a las tendencias presentes que incorporen elementos centrales como el turismo en la región.
De tal suerte, surge la propuesta de un nuevo centro de acopio agroturístico en San Rafael, el cual busca articular las veredas productoras y contribuir al desarrollo urbano, lo cual se
desarrolla, principalmente, con la reubicación en un lote ubicado en el sector el jardín, emplazado de manera estratégica, que permita esta relación con un diseño conceptual y técnico que, a su vez, permita la apropiación de la comunidad, implementando estrategias bioclimáticas y autosustentables articuladas con su entorno, potenciando la expansión del casco urbano y
respondiendo a estas tendencias del municipio.
Abstract
It is in this context that the present proposal for the renovation of the San Rafael Municipal Market Square emerges, with the implementation of complementary programs and strategies that will, in part, reduce the inequality between rural and urban areas. To this end, through urban analysis, the identification of potential and determining factors in the municipality, and the analysis of the dynamics of the last 20 years, the aim was to align the market square with current trends that incorporate key elements such as tourism in the region. Thus, the proposal for a new agrotourism collection center in San Rafael emerged. This seeks to connect the producing areas and contribute to urban development. This is primarily achieved through relocation to a plot of land in the El Jardín sector, strategically located to enable this relationship with a conceptual and technical design that, in turn, allows for community ownership, implementing bioclimatic and self-sustaining strategies aligned with its surroundings, promoting the expansion of the urban center and responding to these municipal trends.
