Con esta investigación se da a conocer lo importante y delicado que es preservar y trabajar por el ambiente, único pacto cierto para seguir subsistiendo en el planeta y, sobre todo, como una forma de garantizarle a las nuevas generaciones ambientes sanos, agua limpia y abundante, ejes fundamentales e indiscutibles para la conservación de los seres vivos. En este sentido, el hombre en su inmensa irresponsabilidad, viene contribuyendo en forma acelerada con la deforestación continua y sistemática de bosques y selvas por cuenta de prácticas agrícolas inapropiadas o por lo que es peor, por cuenta de la minería ilegal o por la tala de bosques para siembra de cultivos variados, como es el caso lamentable que acontece en el municipio de San Calixto y, en general, en Norte de Santander, pleno corazón del Catatumbo, reserva forestal de nuestro país
Con el auge y desarrollo de los variados cultivos de manera incontrolable y con escasa asistencia técnica viene proliferando en la zona rural de San Calixto, se ha causado un daño ecológico grave, no solo en materia hídrica, por cuanto los ríos y quebradas de la zona, vienen recibiendo desproporcionadas cantidades de sustancias contaminantes, que están acabando con sus peces y la salubridad del agua, sino que también viene afectando en general, el ecosistema de bosques y plantíos de pan coger en la zona. Con esta investigación, no solo se busca hacer conciencia sobre el grave peligro que representa para los campesinos que viven a diario con el problema, sino las grandes repercusiones que este significa para la estabilidad ambiental de la región.
Abstract
This research reveals how important and delicate it is to preserve and work for the environment, the only true pact to continue to survive on the planet and, above all, as a way to guarantee new generations healthy environments, clean and abundant water. , fundamental and indisputable axes for the conservation of living beings. In this sense, man, in his immense irresponsibility, has been contributing in an accelerated way to the continuous and systematic deforestation of forests and jungles due to inappropriate agricultural practices or, what is worse, due to illegal mining or logging of forests for planting varied crops, as is the unfortunate case that occurs in the municipality of San Calixto and, in general, in Norte de Santander, in the heart of Catatumbo, a forest reserve in our country
With the rise and development of various crops in an uncontrollable way and with little technical assistance, it has proliferated in the rural area of San Calixto, serious ecological damage has been caused, not only in terms of water, since the rivers and streams in the area They have been receiving disproportionate amounts of pollutants, which are killing their fish and the health of the water, but it has also been affecting, in general, the ecosystem of forests and plantations of bread to catch in the area. With this research, it is not only sought to raise awareness about the serious danger that it represents for the peasants who live with the problem every day, but also the great repercussions that this means for the environmental stability of the region.
