dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo de investigación pretende realizar un estudio de las tarifas de prestación del servicio de energía eléctrica en la Ciudad de Bogotá, partiendo desde la óptica de las teorías de la Economía del Bienestar y enfatizando en el cambio que estas presentaron con posterioridad a la privatización de la empresa de energía de Bogotá (EEB). Para esclarecer el análisis dentro del marco teórico de la economía del bienestar procederemos a mencionar algunos de sus conceptos principales, que resultan de importancia para entender el problema, tales como la función de bienestar Social, el equilibrio general y parcial de la economía y su incidencia sobre la agregación de la utilidad individual, el Teorema de la Imposibilidad con el cual Arrow (1951) sentó su argumento frente a la función de bienestar social y la Teoría de los Servicios Públicos.eng
dc.description.abstractThe present research work aims to carry out a study of the rates for the provision of electric energy services in the city of Bogota, starting from the perspective of the theories of Welfare Economics and emphasizing the change that these rates presented after the privatization of the Bogota Energy Company (EEB). In order to clarify the analysis within the theoretical framework of welfare economics, we will proceed to mention some of its main concepts, which are important to understand the problem, such as the social welfare function, the general and partial equilibrium of the economy and its incidence on the aggregation of individual utility, the Impossibility Theorem with which Arrow (1951) established his argument regarding the social welfare function and the Theory of Public Services.
