dc.description | Introducción: La población de personas a nivel mundial está incrementando, el proceso de envejecimiento conlleva cambios en la composición corporal como lo son la sarcopenia y la obesidad, la coexistencia de ambos factores desencadena en la obesidad sarcopénica la cual afecta gravemente la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida, el ejercicio físico multicomponente permite erradicar esos efectos. Metodología: Estudio no experimental sobre los efectos de un programa de ejercicio físico multicomponente (Coordinación, Carga Externa, Autocarga) de 12 semanas en la composición corporal en tres momentos. Resultados: Diferencias significativas en Masa Músculo Esquelética, % de grasa corporal, Contenido mineral óseo, Masa grasa tronco y Puntaje inbody. Discusión: Los cambios en las variables son favorables para la salud y acordes a lo publicado con varios autores; aparentemente 2 días de intervención a intensidades moderadas logran efectos positivos; la incidencia del ejercicio físico va mucho más allá de mejorar la composición corporal sino en el hecho de generar hábitos saludables y cultura física en las personas mayores. | spa |
dc.description.abstract | Introduction: The population of people worldwide is increasing, the aging process leads to changes in body composition such as sarcopenia and obesity, the coexistence of both factors triggers sarcopenic obesity which seriously affects the functionality and quality of life. of life, multicomponent physical exercise allows to eradicate these effects. Methodology: Non- experimental study on the effects of a 12-week multicomponent physical exercise program (Coordination, External Load, Self-load) on body composition at three moments. Results: Significant differences in Skeletal Muscle Mass, % body fat, mineral content bone mass, trunk fat mass and inbody score. Discussion: The changes in the variables are favorable for health and in accordance with what has been published by various authors; apparently 2 days of intervention at moderate intensities achieve positive effects; The incidence of physical exercise goes far beyond improving body composition, but in the fact of generating healthy habits and physical culture in the elderly. | spa |
