Operadores Booleanos: AND y +.
Introduction: The following document aims to identify the effects derived from occlusive training on strength and muscle hypertrophy, this because this type of practice although not novel has had divided opinions regarding these two variables, therefore it is necessary to conduct an inquiry from the point of view of the scientific literature in terms of studies that allow to evidence the scientific reality of its effects and benefits in the capacity of strength and muscle hypertrophy. The beginnings and history of this technique, different definitions and concepts of some authors, as well as the general methodology with which this practice is performed, load percentages, general values of blood pressure, etc. Methodology: A search of scientific literature was carried out in databases and indexed journals; taking into account studies that show evidence of the effects of occlusive training on strength and muscle hypertrophy. Boolean operators: "AND" and "+". Conclusions: It is concluded that occlusive training is considered an alternative method to traditional overload training. It is a beneficial training for older adults, healthy individuals, people in rehabilitation or with difficulty in the use of high workloads, generating similar benefits to traditional methods in terms of improving strength and muscle hypertrophy without affecting the health of individuals when its methodology is applied correctly. Likewise, it is a viable training for athletes taking into account the principle of individuality and the specificity of the sport.spa
