Actualización del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SG – SST) de la empresa comunitaria de acueducto alcantarillado y aseo de Saravena (ECAAAS E.S.P) Conforme al Decreto 1072 de 2015

Abstract

The Community Water Company, Sewer and Grooming Saravena, is an organization dedicated to the collection, distribution, water purification, sewage treatment and collection. ECAAAS ESP based its economic activities in giving quality service and as a community enterprise gives an example to other companies, is promotive of employment and has become the model of development of the municipality. This project aims to illustrate the process of updating the Management System Safety and Health at Work (OSH-MS) of the Company, which was developed following the current legal parameters established by Decree 1072 of 2015 and the Technical Guide Colombian GTC - 45, rules that serve as tool to control and reduce accidents and occupational diseases. From a legal perspective it is necessary to follow the regulatory and political guidelines of the company in terms of SG - SST in a first step by gathering historical information of incidents and accidents or occupational diseases, to further establish the shortcomings and the measures to take to overcome them. In the pursuit of achieving that end it was made in a first step an assessment of management system and health and safety at work in each one of the 8 areas that belong to the company, followed by the structuring of the matrix irrigation and also the design of the measurement indicators that will facilitate control measures required by the company in response to evaluated, once updated the SG - SST, this allows the systematic identification of hazards and risks and thus implement controls and inspections. Similarly activities were initiated and formulated procedures for the implementation of SG - SST, for that inspections control incidents and accidents trainings, forms design, generation of protocols to monitor and executed, among others. While the overall policy already established in the company was applied. In conclution, it is necessary for the triumph of good implementation of the management system of safety and health at work all personnel there is highly committed it through training and awareness of workers.
