However, it currently faces major challenges in its organizational management for long-term sustainability. Initially established as ASISTEMI LTDA, facing intense competition and economic limitations in its early years, leading to the dissolution of the company in 2008. Subsequently, under the leadership of Nelson Franco Muñoz, it continued its operations as ASISTEMI S.A.S., overcoming financial obstacles to establish itself as a competitive company in the market. Over the years, it has diversified its portfolio by incorporating technical maintenance services and manufacturing polyethylene storage tanks, which have enabled its survival in the market. However, despite advancements in infrastructure and machinery, the company faces a critical challenge in organizational management in key areas such as leadership capacity: lacking a defined and updated strategic plan, with the mission and vision proposed 20 years ago and never updated. It exhibits deficiencies in communication and managerial control, weakness in business orientation, lacks control systems, and does not conduct management evaluations. All of the above affects strategic decision-making. It can be said that an organization's actions and direction should be guided by its mission, vision, strategic objectives, among other elements of strategic planning that lead to proper decision-making to address organizational challenges. The outdated elements result in order delivery failures affecting customer satisfaction and industry participation, ultimately impacting the corporate image. This issue jeopardizes the reputation and commercial relationships of ASISTEMI SAS, threatening its position in the Colombian metal-mechanical market. The purpose of this thesis project is to design a comprehensive strategic plan for the company to address deficiencies in its organizational management and enhance its competitiveness in the Colombian metal-mechanical market, providing a clear and structured roadmap to tackle these challenges. This project aims not only to improve the company's competitiveness in the Colombian metal-mechanical market but also to strengthen its leadership capacity, enhance communication and managerial control, and foster a business culture focused on excellence and customer satisfaction. In this way, it is expected to contribute to the long-term sustainability and success of ASISTEMI S.A.S.
