Resumen
La presente monografía es el producto de cuatro semestres desarrollando monitorias en la asignatura de geología, a los estudiantes de cuarto semestre de la facultad Ingeniería civil a cargo del ingeniero Guillermo Flechas Fajardo. En las sesiones de monitorias se orienta al estudiante en el desarrollo de los trabajos asignados como complemento de aprendizaje en las temáticas del curso. Durante los cuatro semestres, se identificó que los estudiantes tienen dificultades al elaborar un mapa geológico en el software Qgis ya que en semestres anteriores no se tenían conocimiento del programa, sin embargo con el trabajo en conjunto del docente y los monitores se logra la realización del trabajo inicial (mapa geológico del municipio asignado), requerido para el aprendizaje en la interpretación de la cartografía geológica. Para ver el comportamiento de las unidades y estructuras geológicas en el subsuelo, se debe elaborar el perfil geológico poniendo en práctica los conocimientos impartidos por el docente y la orientación del monitor. Motivo que me lleva a elaborar el presente documento en el que describo el paso a paso en un video tutorial que he desarrollado para facilitar la elaboración de perfiles geológicos.
Abstract
The present monograph is the product of four semesters developing monitoring in the subject of geology, to the students of fourth semester of the faculty Civil engineering in charge of the engineer Guillermo Flechas Fajardo. In the monitoring sessions, the student is guided in the development of the assigned assignments as a complement of learning in the thematic of the course. During the four semesters, it was identified that the students have difficulties in elaborating a geological map in the software Qgis since in previous semesters there was no knowledge of the program, however with the joint work of the teacher and the monitors the realization of the Initial work (geological map of the assigned municipality), required for learning in the interpretation of geological mapping. In order to see the behavior of the units and geological structures in the subsoil, the geological profile must be elaborated putting into practice the knowledge imparted by the teacher and the orientation of the monitor. Reason that leads me to elaborate the present document in which I describe the step by step in a video tutorial that I have developed to facilitate the elaboration of geological profiles.
