Causas y Consecuenicas de la Violencia Intrafamiliar a Causa del Confinamiento por COVID 19 en las Familias del Municipio de Briceño-Boyaca para el Segundo Trimestre del Año 2020

Abstract

During the last year, studies have been carried out on the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic; finding that domestic violence has increased, possibly due to confinement; This being a trigger for the different municipal authorities to take measures and carry out strategies for the population to identify the main causes that led to this violence, and likewise, to harmonize efforts in favor of achieving the solution.

Therefore, the present study will identify the variables, which allows knowing the causes and consequences of domestic violence, due to confinement by COVID 19 in families in the municipality of Briceño - Boyacá, during the second quarter of 2020. According to German Peralta Family Commissioner, before mandatory confinement, there were 3 to 5 cases per month; and during, the confinement increased between 18 to 20 per month.

In this way, it starts from a theoretical context, which allows identifying causes such as: income, job stability, communication, multiple activities in charge, and tolerance, among others. At the same time, identify the consequences that confinement overwhelms the family nucleus, such as anxiety, depression, and other emotional disorders. Followed by a methodology that allowed us to use instruments such as: Focus groups, surveys, workshops for the reconstruction of the social fabric, which strengthens interpersonal relationships, with their environment and with their family nucleus and provides elements for the resolution of conflicts in a timely and effective manner. , to generate synergy within families.
