Propuesta para la implementación de la metodología GRI en dirección a la evaluación de la sostenibilidad en la Universidad Santo Tomás

Abstract

The purpose of this document is to illustrate the degree work process under the study group modality of the Master of Administration MBA, in the sustainability reports macroproject of “Universidad Santo Tomás” with emphasis on the GRI report project for 2020 and 2021, where the administrative, economic, environmental, and social spheres articulated with the 2016-2028 multicampus comprehensive plan are analyzed. The work evidences a multi-campus perspective highlighting the contributions from the USTA headquarters and sections to the development of the country, the regions and localities that impact from the missionary processes of teaching, research, social projection and internationalization. This report is a contribution to the sustainability process of “Universidad Santo Tomás”, which highlights the code of good governance, an institutional document that defines the interest groups and allows them to be identified in the development of the report. The University has adopted the GRI methodology in accordance with its philosophy and institutional identity to strengthen the evidence of the contributions and generate lines of action for improvement that lead to “Tomasino” leadership in terms of sustainability.
