piscinas.
Abstract
In Colombia, according to studies of drowning figures (DANE 2008). The number of fatal accidents with boys and girls under fourteen years of age, youth and adults occurring in private and public swimming pools continues to increase. This reality was evident in the lives of two families who lost their children in these circumstances and who formed two non-profit foundations, both with the aim of informing and educating about the risks of severe injuries and death by drowning in children and girls under fourteen years of age, due to the inappropriate use of swimming pools.
