Resumen

Objeto de la línea de investigación: El problema del ser en cuanto ser. Nuestro objeto de estudio no es otro que el mismo que responde a la pregunta formulada por Aristóteles hace veinticinco siglos: ¿qué es el ser? (1028 b 4). Tras del sentido del ser han estado filósofos antes de Aristóteles, como Parménides, Heráclito, y Platón, entre otros, y un sinnúmero de pensadores posteriores a él: Plotino, Agustín, Avicena, Tomás, Leibniz, Hegel, Heidegger … sin mencionar acá grandes pensadores que no pertenecen a la tradición occidental de la filosofía; actualmente en América Latina, el Grupo de Investigación Tlamatinime ha optado por preguntarse este problema clásico del pensamiento filosófico, tal cual, sin adjetivarlo con ningún color o contexto, es decir que no nos preguntamos por el «ser latinoamericano» sino por el ser en cuanto ser, y nada más: recogemos la tradición occidental y, partiendo de ella, queremos avanzar, pero dejando claro que el objeto de estudio es el clásico problema que interroga por el ser -y nada más.

Abstract

Object of the line of research: The problem of being as being. Our object of study is none other than the same one that answers the question formulated by Aristotle twenty-five centuries ago: what is being? (1028 b 4). Behind the meaning of being there have been philosophers before Aristotle, such as Parmenides, Heraclitus, and Plato, among others, and countless thinkers after him: Plotinus, Augustine, Avicenna, Thomas, Leibniz, Hegel, Heidegger ... not to mention here great thinkers who do not belong to the Western tradition of philosophy; currently in Latin America, the Tlamatinime Research Group has chosen to ask this classic problem of philosophical thought, as it is, without adjectivizing it with any color or context, that is, we do not ask ourselves about the "Latin American being" but about being as being, and nothing else: we gather the Western tradition and, starting from it, we want to move forward, but making clear that the object of study is the classic problem that asks about being - and nothing more.
