El presente proyecto de grado propone el diseño arquitectónico de un hotel ecoturístico en el municipio de Curití, Santander, con el objetivo de responder a la creciente demanda turística de la región mediante una oferta de hospedaje sostenible que promueva el turismo cultural. Curití, reconocido por su riqueza natural y cultural, carece de infraestructura hotelera que articule la sostenibilidad ambiental con la identidad local. Por ello, el hotel se emplaza en una zona rural próxima al Balneario Pescaderito, seleccionada por sus condiciones ambientales, visuales y de accesibilidad, y se proyecta con un diseño que minimiza el impacto ecológico e integra materiales autóctonos, tecnologías sostenibles y espacios que fomenten el aprendizaje y la interacción cultural. El proyecto toma como referentes arquitectónicos el Hotel Remota (Chile), las Cabañas Morerava (Isla de Pascua) y el Hotel Aimarawa (Colombia), a partir de los cuales se adaptan conceptos como implantación topográfica, geometría orgánica, circulación conectada con el entorno y uso de materiales naturales. Se realizó un análisis normativo, legal y técnico que garantiza la viabilidad del proyecto conforme a las regulaciones ambientales, de construcción y uso del suelo, destacando el cumplimiento de la NSR-10, la norma NTSH y el EOT de Curití. Además, se llevó a cabo una caracterización del usuario potencial, enfocándose en turistas que valoran el contacto con la naturaleza, la cultura local y el consumo responsable. En conjunto, el proyecto busca consolidarse como una iniciativa que impulse el desarrollo turístico responsable, genere oportunidades económicas locales y preserve el valor paisajístico y cultural del municipio
Abstract
This undergraduate project proposes the architectural design of an ecotourism hotel in the municipality of Curití, Santander, with the aim of responding to the region’s growing tourism demand through a sustainable lodging offering that promotes cultural tourism. Curití, known for its natural and cultural wealth, lacks hotel infrastructure that combines environmental sustainability with local identity. Therefore, the hotel is located in a rural area near the Pescaderito natural pool, chosen for its environmental, visual, and accessibility conditions, and is designed to minimize ecological impact while integrating native materials, sustainable technologies, and spaces that encourage cultural learning and interaction. The project draws architectural references from Hotel Remota (Chile), Morerava Cabins (Easter Island), and Hotel Aimarawa (Colombia), adapting concepts such as topographic implantation, organic geometry, circulation connected to the environment, and the use of natural materials. A legal, normative, and technical analysis was carried out to ensure the project's feasibility in accordance with environmental, construction, and land use regulations, highlighting compliance with NSR-10, the NTSH standard, and Curití’s Territorial Ordering Scheme (EOT). Additionally, a characterization of the potential user was developed, focusing on tourists who value contact with nature, local culture, and responsible consumption. Altogether, the project seeks to position itself as an initiative that fosters responsible tourism development, creates local economic opportunities, and preserves the scenic and cultural value of the municipality
