Resumen
Esta investigación titulada “El desarrollo del deporte en Junín (Cundinamarca) durante el
siglo XX”, se realiza en la comunidad Juninense y hace parte de la línea de investigación estudios
sociales del cuerpo y el movimiento, pertenece al grupo cuerpo, sujeto y educación de la facultad
de cultura física, deporte y recreación de la universidad Santo Tomas.
El documento busca indagar acerca de la historia del deporte en el municipio de Junín en
el siglo XX, entendiendo al deporte como fenómeno de la modernidad, y su valor de patrimonio
histórico y cultural. El propósito de este proyecto es el de contextualizar el deporte y su desarrollo
durante el siglo XX, estableciendo las etapas y momentos que permitieron este desarrollo; así
mismo las instituciones o entidades que hicieron parte del proceso y por ultimo las practicas
deportivas que se llevaron a cabo en este periodo de tiempo.
Abstract
This research entitled "The development of sport in Junín (Cundinamarca) during the 20th
century", is carried out in the Junín community and is part of the line of research on social
studies of the body and movement. It belongs to the body, subject and education group of the
physical culture, sport and recreation faculty of the Santo Tomas University.
The document seeks to investigate the history of sport in the municipality of Junín in the 20th
century, understanding sport as a modern phenomenon, and its value as a historical and cultural
heritage. The purpose of this project is to contextualize sport and its development during the 20th
century, establishing the stages and moments that allowed this development; as well as the
institutions or entities that were part of the process and finally the sport practices that were
carried out in this period of time.
