dc.description	El municipio de Salgar, ubicado en la subregión del Suroeste antioqueño, enfrenta actualmente un déficit significativo de vivienda tanto en zonas urbanas como rurales, producto de una planeación territorial limitada, el crecimiento poblacional y fenómenos migratorios. Este proyecto de grado propone una respuesta arquitectónica y territorial a dicha problemática mediante el diseño de una tipología de vivienda urbana y una tipología de vivienda rural, desarrolladas a partir de un análisis físico-espacial del municipio y orientadas por criterios de sostenibilidad, eficiencia y respeto por el entorno natural y cultural. Más allá de una solución técnica, este proyecto se fundamenta en un vínculo emocional con el territorio, que motiva una mirada sensible y comprometida hacia las dinámicas sociales y espaciales de Salgar. En este sentido, se plantea la transición urbano-rural como un experimento de integración, buscando ofrecer una forma de habitar que permita a las personas disfrutar de las cualidades del entorno rural sin perder acceso a los servicios y oportunidades del ámbito urbano. Esta propuesta busca contribuir al desarrollo equilibrado del municipio, promoviendo modelos habitacionales más resilientes, inclusivos y en sintonía con las particularidades del territorio
dc.description.abstract	The municipality of Salgar, located in the Southwestern subregion of Antioquia, currently faces a significant housing deficit in both urban and rural areas, driven by limited territorial planning, population growth, and migration dynamics. This thesis project offers an architectural and territorial response to this issue through the design of one urban housing typology and one rural housing typology. These are developed based on a physical-spatial analysis of the municipality and guided by principles of sustainability, efficiency, and respect for the natural and cultural environment. Beyond a technical solution, this project is rooted in a personal and emotional connection to the territory, which inspires a sensitive and committed approach to Salgar’s social and spatial dynamics. In this context, the concept of the urban-rural transition is proposed as an experimental strategy aimed at integrating the best of both worlds—enabling residents to enjoy the qualities of rural life without losing access to the services and opportunities offered by urban environments. This proposal seeks to contribute to the balanced development of the municipality by promoting more resilient, inclusive, and context-sensitive housing models.
