Amagà fue quizá el municipio mas prospero
del suroeste antioqueño, luego del auge de la
ferrería esto comenzó a decaer y se tomo la
minería carbonera como sustento, esto
provoco un abandono en el sector agrícola,
sobre todo el sector cafetero. Con la presencia
de la violencia en la región suroeste
comenzaron a llegar inmigrantes de los
pueblos aledaños, desplazados por la guerra,
lo que ocasiono un aumento exponencial en
la actividad minera , pues las personas buscaban
su sustento sin saber los peligros que
acarrearía esta practica excesiva.
Luego vinieron las tragedias que la mala
practica de extracción mineral trajo con
sigo, lo que abrió nuevamente las puertas al
campo, reactivando la visión económica del
sector cafetero, viendo la carencia de capacitación
en el municipio se propuso un centro
agroindustrial como solución y oportunidad
para el progreso, uno como excusa para trabajar
en un proceso agrícola que por supuesto
haga crecer el campo y dos como medio
de hacer llegar a las personas un espacio
donde se puedan capacitar en diferentes ámbitos
cafeteros no solamente comerciales si
no a nivel agrícola.
La arquitectura como vinculo entre los habitantes
de Amagà y la producción de su
propio campo en vez de explotarlo de forma
contaminante y sobretodo peligrosa. Esto
será una forma de recordar la identidad de
quienes en algún momento fueron los mas
prósperos de la región.
Abstract
Amagà was perhaps the most prosperous municipality
southwest of Antioquia, after the height of the
ironworks this began to decline and took the
coal mining as sustenance, this
caused an abandonment in the agricultural sector,
especially the coffee sector. With the presence
of violence in the southwest region
began to arrive immigrants from the
neighboring towns, displaced by the war,
which caused an exponential increase in
the mining activity, since people were looking for
their sustenance without knowing the dangers that
would bring this excessive practice.
Then came the tragedies that the bad
mineral extraction practice brought with
I continue, which opened the doors again to
field, reactivating the economic vision of
coffee sector, seeing the lack of training
in the municipality a center was proposed
agroindustrial as a solution and opportunity
for progress, one as an excuse to work
in an agricultural process that of course
