dc.descriptionSegún la Ley 1098 de 2006, los adolescentes que cometen delitos entre los 14 y 18 años son vinculados al Sistema de Responsabilidad Penal para Adolescentes (SRPA); sin embargo, las sanciones privativas de la libertad consideradas en el mismo, pueden generar efectos positivos y negativos. Por tal motivo, esta investigación de diseño longitudinal de panel con medidas repetidas buscó evaluar los efectos de privación de la libertad en adolescentes vinculados al SRPA, a través de un modelo de formulación de caso que implicó la aplicación de instrumentos de evaluación, realización de entrevistas directas y colaterales, y revisión documental. El proyecto se ejecutó simultáneamente en dos Centros de Atención Especializada (CAE), con seis adolescentes en Bogotá en la Fundación Familia, Entorno e Individuo (FEI), y seis adolescentes en Cali en el Centro de Formación Juvenil el Buen Pastor. A partir de dicho procedimiento fue posible identificar diferencias entre Cali y Bogotá del efecto de la sanción sobre el uso de estrategias de afrontamiento, autoconcepto, actitud hacia la autoridad institucional, clima grupal, rasgos de impulsividad y sintomatología psicopatológica; asimismo, se evidenció en los CAE una limitación en las estrategias de intervención ejecutadas, insuficiencia y escasez de los servicios ofrecidos y dinámicas de agresión predominantes. Se discuten las implicaciones de los resultados identificados, las limitaciones de la investigación y una posible proyección para futuras investigaciones.spa
dc.description.abstractAccording to Law 1098 of 2006, adolescents who commit crimes between the ages of 14 and 18 are charged and prosecuted in the System of Criminal Responsibility for Adolescents (SRPA); however, the confinement sanctions considered can generate positive and negative effects. For this reason, this longitudinal panel design investigation with repeated measures sought to evaluate the effects of deprivation of liberty in adolescents tried in the SRPA, employing a case formulation model that involved the application of evaluation instruments, direct and collateral interviews, and documentary review. The project was carried out simultaneously in two Specialized Attention Centers (CAE), with six adolescents in Bogotá at the Fundación Familia, Entorno e Individuo (FEI), and six adolescents in Cali at the Centro de Formación Juvenil el Buen Pastor. Through this procedure, it was possible to identify differences between Cali and Bogotá regarding the effect of the sanction on the use of coping strategies, self-concept, attitude towards institutional authority, group climate, impulsivity traits, and psychopathological symptoms; likewise, the limitation in the intervention strategies implemented, insufficiency and scarcity of the services offered, and predominant aggression dynamics were evidenced in the CAE. The implications of the identified results, research limitations, and a possible projection for future research are discussed.spa
