La Villa Olímpica del municipio de Socorro, Santander, presenta escenarios deportivos organizados en diferentes niveles que no se encuentran completamente articulados y cuentan con áreas vacantes que limitan su funcionamiento integral.
Proponer el diseño de un Centro Deportivo Provincial que complemente y fortalezca la infraestructura existente, integrando espacios administrativos, deportivos y de apoyo dentro del conjunto. Se realizó un análisis del contexto, de la infraestructura existente y de la topografía del lugar para establecer criterios de implantación arquitectónica, funcional y ambiental. La propuesta se organiza en varios niveles que articulan los escenarios deportivos actuales con
nuevos espacios como administración, área de salud, gimnasio y sala polivalente, generando recorridos continuos y relaciones espaciales dentro del complejo. El proyecto permite optimizar el funcionamiento de la Villa Olímpica y consolidarla como un equipamiento deportivo de alcance municipal y provincial que promueve el deporte, la recreación y la integración social.
Abstract
The Olympic Village in the municipality of Socorro, Santander, has sports facilities organized on different levels that are not fully connected and have vacant areas that limit their overall functionality. Propose the design of a Provincial Sports Center that complements and strengthens the existing infrastructure, integrating administrative, sports, and support spaces within the complex. An analysis of the context, existing infrastructure, and topography of the site was carried out to
establish architectural, functional, and environmental implementation criteria. The proposal is organized on several levels that connect the current sports facilities with new spaces such as administration, health area, gym, and multipurpose room, creating continuous routes and spatial relationships within the complex. The project optimizes the functioning of the Olympic Village and consolidates it as a municipal and provincial sports facility that promotes sports, recreation, and social integration.
