Resumen

Tiene futuro un filósofo en la bolsa de valores?, ¿podrá un politólogo abrirse camino como exitoso diseñador de software? o ¿llegará un historiador a ser el mejor director técnico de la selección nacional de futbol? Sin ánimo de querer confrontar o desalentar a mis colegas humanistas, y a los que han decidido estudiar las ciencias humanas y sociales, parece que las posibilidades de que esto sea así son remotas, considerablemente remontas. ¿No sería entonces, por ello, abrumador llegar a dar con una universidad que tiene como criterio fundamental la formación humanística para forjar excelentes profesionales

Abstract

Does a philosopher have a future in the stock market? Can a political scientist make his way as successful? software designer? or will a historian become the best technical director of the national team national football? Not wanting to confront or discourage my fellow humanists, and those who have decided to study the human and social sciences, it seems that the possibilities that this being so, they are remote, considerably backward. Would it not then, therefore, be overwhelming to find a university whose fundamental criterion is humanistic training to forge excellent professionals
