Resumen
En el presente artículo se señalan las relaciones entre el Estado y la sociedad en Colombia como factor clave parael estudio de las situaciones de desigualdad en el país. El objetivo de la investigación es exponer la fragmentación ydebilidad institucional del Estado social de derecho colombiano, destacando principalmente fenómenos de corrupcióny relaciones de clientelismo que guían al entramado burocrático, al cuerpo estatal, en la ejecución de sus funciones yque atentan contra la democracia y por ende, el bienestar de toda la ciudadanía.
This article identifies the relationship between the State and society in Colombia as a key factor for the study of the situations of inequality in the country. The objective of the research is to expose the fragmentation and institutional weaknesses of the Colombian social State based on the rule of law, mainly emphasizing the corruption phenomena and patronage relationships that guide the bureaucratic framework, the state body, in the execution of their duties, and that threaten democracy and, therefore, the welfare of all citizens.
