Abstract

The following thesis analyzed the feasibility of creating a preventive corrective maintenance service line for a logistics company with forklifts, called SAS specialists' training and solutions. This research had four main pillars: market research, technical research, administrative planning, and financial analysis. The market result showed that 84% of the companies surveyed did not have a current supplier, confirming the need and the niche opportunity in this sector. In the technical area, a detailed operating structure was designed with plant layout, diagnostic tools, and procedures with operational discipline that ensure efficiency and traceability. From the administrative perspective, a scalable model was proposed that complies with current labor and industrial safety regulations. Financially, the indicators support the feasibility with a NPV of 88.4 million, an IRR of 23.7%, a ROI of 47.3%, and an average avoidance margin of 24%. Thus, reaching the break-even point with 224 annual services from this analysis. We can see that the project is not only profitable, but also provides a sustainable competitive advantage for the company and the logistics sector in the industry.
