Análisis de la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y la intención de rotación del área comercial de una empresa del sector salud en Bucaramanga

dc.description | El propósito de este estudio es examinar la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y la intención de rotación en el área comercial de una empresa de salud de Bucaramanga. Con ello se pretende incentivar a las organizaciones a implementar mejores prácticas de gestión de personal en este sector y lograr una mayor retención del talento. Tras conceptualizar las variables objeto de estudio, se determinó que un constructo multidimensional de satisfacción laboral permitiría un análisis más profundo. Se adoptó un método de muestreo de censo poblacional, en donde se dio participación a 40 empleados del área comercial de la empresa salud según información suministrada por el sistema Success Factors. Los datos se recogieron mediante una encuesta web creada con Google Forms, en donde se estableció un cuestionario que incluía la identificación sociodemográfica y dos escalas de medición: el cuestionario de satisfacción laboral propuesto por Meliá y Peiró (1989) y el modelo TIS-6 propuesto por Bothma y Roodt (2013) para medir la intención de rotación. El estudio pretende identificar la variable de la satisfacción laboral a través de sus dimensiones y estimar los niveles de intención de rotación de los empleados en el sector salud. Los resultados revelaron una relación significativa entre las variables investigadas, lo que puede ayudar a las organizaciones a rediseñar sus prácticas de gestión de personal en el sector. | spa |
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention in the commercial sector of a health company in Bucaramanga. This is intended to encourage organizations to implement better personnel management practices in this sector and achieve greater talent retention. After conceptualizing the variables under study, it was determined that a multidimensional construct of job satisfaction would allow a deeper analysis. A population census sampling method was adopted, in which 40 employees from the commercial area of the health company participated according to information provided by the Success Factors system. Data were collected through a web survey created with Google Forms, where a questionnaire was established that included sociodemographic identification and two measurement scales: the job satisfaction questionnaire proposed by Meliá and Peiró (1989) and the TIS-6 model proposed by Bothma and Roodt (2013) to measure turnover intention. The study aims to identify the variable of job satisfaction through its dimensions and to estimate the levels of employee turnover intention in the healthcare sector. The results revealed a significant relationship between the variables investigated, which may help organizations to redesign their personnel management practices in the sector. | spa |
