dc.description	Para entender mejor cómo la calidad en las empresas se relaciona con el desarrollo sostenible, se realizó un estudio de todo lo que se ha publicado sobre los ODS 9 y 12. Usando la base de datos SCOPUS y una herramienta llamada VOSviewer, se buscaron artículos en inglés y español de los últimos diez años (2013-2024), con palabras clave como "gestión de calidad" y "mejora continua". Se describió quiénes son los principales países, autores y revistas que están publicando, y cuáles son los temas que más se repiten. Es muy interesante ver cómo cada vez más gente está conectando la calidad con la sostenibilidad, especialmente en el mundo de la industria y la educación. Pero, a pesar de todo lo que se ha avanzado, los resultados mostraron que todavía falta mucho por explorar sobre cómo aplicar realmente estos conceptos para cumplir los ODS 9 y 12. Esto deja un montón de oportunidades para nuevas investigaciones en el mundo académico y empresarial.
dc.description.abstract	To better understand how quality in companies relates to sustainable development, a study was conducted of all publications on SDGs 9 and 12. Using the SCOPUS database and a tool called VOSviewer, articles in English and Spanish from the last ten years (2013-2024) were searched, using keywords such as "quality management" and "continuous improvement." The authors described the main countries, authors, and journals publishing these articles, as well as the most frequently recurring themes. It is very interesting to see how more and more people are connecting quality with sustainability, especially in the worlds of industry and education. However, despite all the progress made, the results showed that there is still much to explore regarding how to truly apply these concepts to achieve SDGs 9 and 12. This leaves a wealth of opportunities for new research in academia and business.
