En Colombia la religión juega un papel fundamental dentro de las formas de socialización y relaciones sociales de las personas debido a la trascendencia que la iglesia ha sostenido en términos morales y culturales en el país. No obstante, la legitimación de un discurso religioso, puede superar las fronteras de lo social a lo político, impactando en temas como lo son los Derechos Sexuales y Reproductivos (DSR). Por ello, en esta investigación se plantea indagar en la legitimación del discurso religioso expresado a través del medio de comunicación escrito El Tiempo -debido a su importancia en el país-, con el fin de corroborar la hipótesis planteada inicialmente, sobre cómo el medio expone un discurso ideológico que deslegitima los DSR. De igual modo, y con el fin de apoyar la investigación, no sólo se usa como fuente el periódico, sino documentación y entrevistas a la Conferencia Episcopal Colombiana (CEC) en contraste con un discurso religioso alternativo -Católicas por el Derecho a Decidir Colombia (CDD)- que permitirá reafirmar la hipótesis, y mostrar un dialogo de los diferentes discursos que desde la misma religiosidad expresa un posicionamiento de los DSR -a favor y en contra-.
In Colombia, religion plays a fundamental role within people's forms of socialization and social relations due to the transcendence that the church has sustained in moral and cultural terms in the country. However, the legitimation of a religious discourse can overcome the borders of the social to the political, impacting on issues such as Sexual and Reproductive Rights (DSR). For this reason, this research proposes to investigate the legitimation of the religious discourse expressed through the written communication medium El Tiempo -due to its importance in the country-, in order to corroborate the hypothesis initially raised, about how the medium exposes an ideological discourse that delegitimizes the DSR. Similarly, and in order to support the investigation, not only is the newspaper used as a source, but documentation and interviews with the Colombian Episcopal Conference (CEC) in contrast to an alternative religious discourse -Catholic for the Right to Decide Colombia ( CDD) - that will allow to reaffirm the hypothesis, and show a dialogue of the different discourses that from the same religiosity expresses a position of the DSR -for and against-.
