Abstract

The city of Tunja is currently known due to its cultural, educational and religious tourist attractions; culturally you will find the well of Donato, the cushions of the zaque, the railway station among other places of heritage interest, on the other hand we find higher educational institutions, which welcome a large number of students at the municipal and national level, within which are, the Universidad Tecnologica y Pedagogica de Colombia, the Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja, the University of Boyacá and the Juan De Castellanos University Foundation, Lastly, as a religious heritage, there is the Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago de Tunja, the Church of Santo Domingo, the Church of San Francisco, the Convent of Santa Clara la Real; in such a way that each of them has favoured the constant growth and national recognition; its geographical location makes it possible to implement new projects for the advancement and development in the three areas: social, economic and ecological, Thanks to these pillars it has been possible to show what opportunities and difficulties are presented within the municipality in general.

One of the problems that will be covered in this project research, are within this framework at the partner-leveleconomic, due to the lack of implementation of adequate spaces and/or equipment to generate employment and improve job opportunities for professionals to take up positions in their own territory, taking into account the abilities of young people to practise independently of their profession. The project, in turn, aims to strengthen the economic reactivation of the city, so that it is possible to generate more employment and allow municipal consolidation through a new infrastructure that provides business development and innovation. It is also intended to generate an articulation, between the project site and the immediate environment in which it is located, due to the environmental determinants that are presented in the site, therefore, a pleasant environment is ensured for all citizens by improving the quality of life, through the rehabilitation and conservation of environmental resources.
