| dc.description | La monografía analiza problemas en la gestión del laboratorio ETM11 de la Universidad Santo Tomás, originados por la falta de control sobre la infraestructura informática. Esto genera tres inconvenientes principales: 1.Desperdicio energético: equipos encendidos fuera del horario de uso. 2. Gestión reactiva: ausencia de monitoreo en tiempo real impide mantenimiento preventivo. 3. Falta de automatización: tareas manuales que complican la labor técnica. Solución propuesta. Implementación de un sistema inteligente basado en tecnologías abiertas: Zabbix Server y Agent: monitoreo centralizado y recolección de métricas (CPU, memoria, temperatura, energía). Grafana: visualización en paneles dinámicos y en tiempo real. Capacidades clave •Monitoreo integral de recursos y periféricos. •Automatización con alertas y control remoto (Wake-on-LAN). • Gestión proactiva para anticipar incidencias. • Impacto esperado •Reducción del consumo energético y optimización del tiempo técnico. • Mayor fiabilidad por detección temprana de fallos. •Datos históricos para decisiones estratégicas. Este proyecto demuestra cómo las soluciones open source pueden mejorar la eficiencia, ser escalables y alinearse con la transformación digital y la sostenibilidad. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The monograph analyzes problems in the management of the ETM11 laboratory at Santo Tomás University, caused by a lack of control over the IT infrastructure. This generates three main issues: 1.Energy waste: equipment left on outside of operating hours. 2. Reactive management: lack of real-time monitoring prevents preventive maintenance. 3. Lack of automation: manual tasks that complicate technical work. Proposed solution. Implementation of an intelligent system based on open technologies: Zabbix Server and Agent: centralized monitoring and collection of metrics (CPU, memory, temperature, energy). Grafana: visualization in dynamic, real-time panels. Key capabilities • Comprehensive monitoring of resources and peripherals. • Automation with alerts and remote control (Wake-on-LAN). • Proactive management to anticipate incidents. • Expected impact •Reduced energy consumption and optimized technical time. •Increased reliability through early fault detection. •Historical data for strategic decisions.
