Pasantías: Según el diccionario de la Real Academia Española (1992), una pasantía se define como
“el ejercicio del pasante en las facultades y profesiones”. Es interesante notar que esta definición
refleja dos de las motivaciones más comunes que mencionan los estudiantes al comenzar su
pasantía. Algunos ya han decidido un campo específico y se acercan a esta opción para “imponerse
en su práctica”. Otros, por otro lado, buscan “informarse” sobre lo que se realiza en ese ámbito,
sin que esto implique una opción futura. (Real Academia Española (1992) Diccionario de Lengua. Española, Madrid) . Recolección: Es el proceso y resultado de recolectar, que implica reunir, recoger o cosechar algo. Un dato, en este contexto, se refiere a una información que permite generar un cierto conocimiento. Por lo tanto, la recolección de datos es la actividad que consiste en la recopilación de información
en un contexto específico.
Abstract
Internships: According to the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (1992), an internship is
defined as “the exercise of the intern in faculties and professions.” It is interesting to note that this
definition reflects two of the most common motivations that students mention when beginning
their internship. Some have already decided on a specific field and approach this option to “impose
themselves in their practice.” Others, on the other hand, seek to “inform themselves” about what
is being done in that area, without this implying a future option. (Royal Spanish Academy (1992)
Spanish Language Dictionary, Madrid). Gathering: It is the process and result of gathering, which involves gathering, collecting or
harvesting something. Data, in this context, refers to information that allows generating certain
knowledge. Therefore, data collection is the activity that consists of collecting information in a
specific context.
