Abstract
Political philosophy, especially in its relationship with State models, becomes a fundamental element for the critical reading of the relationship between government and popular religion, understood as the religious phenomenon itself. The purpose of this discussion forum analyzes the relationship of each model of government with this phenomenon. Also, it considers its evolution from 1810 to the present day.
