La comunidad del resguardo indígena “La Victoria” ha vivido una etapa de transición y ambigüedad durante más de 40 años, debido al cambio de una vida nómada a una sedentaria, situación que ha intensificado prácticas ajenas a su cultura y ha dificultado la configuración de un sentido arraigado al territorio. Entre estas prácticas se encuentra la intervención e imposición de conocimientos técnico-científicos a través del diseño, la construcción y la gestión del actual sistema de distribución de agua cruda. Debido a lo anterior, este artículo busca describir las circunstancias de la comunidad en relación con el agua para consumo y proponer la alternativa de los acueductos comunitarios como mecanismos complejos que las comunidades desarrollan alrededor de la necesidad de acceso al agua, siendo de gran importancia por su carácter popular y por la articulación de aspectos complejos de las relaciones humanas con el entorno en el que habitan.
Abstract
The community of the indigenous reserve "La Victoria" has lived a stage of transition and ambiguity for more than 40 years, due to the change from nomadic to sedentary life, an issue that has exacerbated practices alien to it, making it difficult to configure a sense anchored to the territory,such as the intervention and imposition of technical-scientific knowledge through the design, construction and management of the current raw water distribution system.
