| dc.description | Este documento presenta un plan de mejora diseñado para optimizar el proceso de creación de números de parte en la empresa SLB, específicamente en la unidad FES LAM, donde actualmente me desempeño como practicante. El proceso actual, implementado en Brasil, se caracteriza por su naturaleza manual y propensa a errores, lo que genera ineficiencias operativas y retrasa la cadena de suministro. Con el objetivo de incrementar la eficiencia, reducir costos y minimizar riesgos asociados a errores humanos (García, 2021), este plan propone la automatización del proceso mediante la transición a un sistema digitalizado. La propuesta se fundamenta en una matriz DOFA que analiza las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas del sistema propuesto. Además, se incluye un plan de adaptación que contempla la capacitación del personal, la integración con sistemas existentes y la gestión del cambio organizacional. La implementación de esta mejora no solo alineará a SLB con las mejores prácticas de la industria en términos de eficiencia operativa, sino que también fortalecerá su competitividad en el mercado brasileño, un país clave en sus operaciones internacionales. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This document presents an improvement plan designed to optimize the process of creating part numbers at SLB, specifically within the FES LAM unit, where I am currently working as an intern. The current process, implemented in Brazil, is characterized by its manual nature and susceptibility to errors, which generates operational inefficiencies and delays in the supply chain. With the aim of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and minimizing risks associated with human error (García, 2021), this plan proposes the automation of the process through the transition to a digitalized system. The proposal is based on a SWOT matrix that analyzes the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats of the proposed system. In addition, it includes an adaptation plan that considers staff training, integration with existing systems, and organizational change management. The implementation of this improvement will not only align SLB with industry best practices in terms of operational efficiency but will also strengthen its competitiveness in the Brazilian market, a key country in its international operations. | |
