This study investigated the effects of peak height velocity (PHV) in young tennis players on the spider test and repeated sprint ability 10 x 20. There was a total of 62 participants in the study (n=62), Thirty men (CA 13.41 ± 1.43 yrs, height 158.91 ± 11.02 cm, weight 45.59±7.45 kg and body fat 16.34±5.47%), and thirty-two women (CA 13.88±1.23 years, height 158.33±6.28 cm, weight: 51.08±9.75 kg and body fat 21.49±4.54%). The spider test was conducted to evaluate agility and the repeated sprint ability (RSA) 10 x 20 to analyze the ability to maintain the same speed after several repetitions. The results were compared to Peak Height Velocity (PHV). The participants were then divided into subgroups based on their physical maturity status (late and on-time maturity). Statistical analysis was performed using the student's T-test. These findings demonstrated that males on-time in the maturity state group increased their percentage of body fat (p≤0.05), and the subgroup of males late in maturity demonstrated higher physical performance in both tests, mainly in the RSA test (p≤0.05). In the female group, the on-time in the maturity was taller (p≤0.01) and had better results in the RSA test but not in the agility. It is concluded that the peak height velocity influences the RSA test in males, but not much in the spider test, and women do not influence any test.spa
