Abstract

This degree project presents the research carried out in the district of La Danta, the needs of its community and the environmental factors surrounding its context. As methodology, research, population analysis and some statistical data were used; understanding the context, needs and existing problems that are based on the research carried out, which identified various needs and problems of the corregimiento, such as the deterioration of the existing cultural infrastructure, the lack of economic investment and the absence of cultural spaces adapted to the requirements of the population. The design of a Center for Culture and Art is proposed, which integrates elements that dialogue with the landscape and local identity. This center will not only be a place of meeting and artistic expression, but a transformative space, where the community Can be projected.
