PLAN EXPORTADOR DE CEBOLLA DE BULBO DESHIDRATADA PULVERIZADA DESDE SAMACÁ, BOYACÁ, HACIA ALEMANIA Y ESTADOS UNIDOS EN EL MARCO DEL CONSULTORIO COMEX

Abstract

This project focuses on the export of powdered dehydrated bulb onions from Samacá, Boyacá, to the German and United States markets. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the technical, legal, and commercial viability of this process. The main tariff, regulatory, and logistical requirements governing the international trade of this product were identified, as well as the costs associated with its transportation, packaging, and certification. Germany was selected as a strategic destination in the European Union due to its high dependence on agricultural imports, especially in the dehydrated food sector. The United States represents a high-consumption market with advantages derived from the Free Trade Agreement in force with Colombia. The study proposes how the Foreign Trade Office of the Universidad Santo Tomás becomes a fundamental ally for local companies, providing support in market identification, pricing, logistics, and legal procedures. This strengthens the internationalization of Colombian agricultural products through a comprehensive and sustainable approach.
