La teoría de las contigencias y su implicación en la actualidad de las empresas del sector comercial de la ciudad de Tunja, Boyacá

Abstract

The dynamization of the Colombian economy has brought with it the growth of business opportunities in the different regions of the country, increasing the possibilities for Colombians to improve their quality of life, and therefore their well-being, generating an environment where people They have the chance to have greater financial independence thanks to the creation of their own company, a fact that of course includes the department of Boyacá. Region in which different ways of acting of companies within this changing economy are evident, and therefore different positions with respect to the plans and measures that must be taken in order to mitigate the consequences of these changes and that market growth. Within the department of Boyacá, its capital Tunja is undoubtedly the focus of new business opportunities and therefore there is an expansion of the different sectors of the economy, the commercial sector being one of the ones that has advanced the most with respect to the rest, and in which it can be seen that this growth is caused by the need of entrepreneurs to sustain themselves in the market with the arrival of new competitors. In this growth framework, the project will have a theoretical focus, since its purpose is to converge this current situation, expansion and growth of the commercial sector of the city of Tunja, with the theory of contingencies. Given that this theory emphasizes the functional relationship that the environment that surrounds organizations has with the decisions they make, among the main questions that surround organizations are: sustainability in the market, the search for new opportunities, expansion and growth of its operations. All variables in which the theory of contingencies has great relevance.
