En el contexto urbano de Rionegro, la expansión de la infraestructura y la industria han relegado el río a un límite silencioso y olvidado, generando una significativa distancia entre el tejido urbano y su ecosistema hídrico. El Mirador del Rio-Negro surge como una estrategia arquitectónica para Subsanar esta desconexión. El proyecto se enmarca dentro del Plan Paisajes del Agua, una iniciativa territorial que busca reactivar la relación ciudad-paisaje natural. La propuesta se fundamenta en una estructura ligera, precisa y adaptable que no solo reconoce las dinámicas hidráulicas del territorio, sino también la memoria latente del antiguo sector industrial de Autolarte. EN El Mirador se concibe primariamente como un lugar de encuentro cívico. Más allá de su función edificada, su diseño articulado desde la rigurosidad técnica y el detalle constructivo actúa como un catalizador. Su propósito es acompañar y facilitar el proceso urbano de volver a mirar el río, reconstruyendo activamente el vínculo esencial entre la comunidad y su recurso hídrico.
Abstract
Within the urban context of Rionegro, the expansion of infrastructure and industry has relegated the river to a silent and forgotten boundary, generating a significant disconnect between the urban fabric and its hydria ecosystem. El Mirador del Rio-Negro emerges as an architectural strategy to address this severance. The project is framed within the "Paisajes del Agua" (Water Landscapes) Plan, a territorial initiative aiming to reactivate the city-natural landscape relationship.
The proposal is founded on a lightweight, precise, and adaptable structure that not only recognizes the territory's hydraulia dynamias but also the latent memory of the former industrial sector of Autolarte. CT
The Mirador is primarily conceived as a civic meeting place. Beyond its built function, its design articulated through technical rigor and construction detailing acts as a catalyst. Its purpose is to support and facilitate the urban process
of re-focusing attention on the river, actively rebuilding the essentialbondbetween the community andits water resource.
