La reflexión sobre los temas éticos mantiene siempre una sentida actualidad en nuestro medio social, cultural y religioso. Conocemos la diversidad cultural y la pluralidad de pensamiento que aflora en nuestra sociedad en donde nuestras convicciones y costumbres son confrontadas y cuestionadas fuertemente. Sabemos bien que muchos jóvenes hoy se sienten en medio de la incertidumbre y de la duda a la hora de actuar con relación a sus principios, a sus modos de vida y a sus maneras diversas de pensar.
La continua indagación sobre nuestras certezas, principios y libertad exige una racionalidad coherente para el ejercicio de nuestro actuar en medio de una sociedad particular, marcada fuertemente por la pluralidad y la multiculturalidad. Se trata, de develar y resituar el verdadero sentido que tiene la moral como fuente de dinamismo para la vida de cada ser humano desde la temporalidad y el proceso transformador de la ética. La reflexión insiste en la distinción de las dimensiones de la moral como un esclarecimiento a la conciencia para la realización humana, según la singularidad de cada ser humano en medio de una sociedad plural.
La presente obra ofrece algunos elementos relevantes en materia de moral para el discernimiento de la conciencia de las personas, a la luz de las reflexiones morales del pensador francés Xavier Thévenot. Es la invitación permanente del Evangelio de Cristo para vivir como hombres nuevos guiados por el Espíritu en la libertad de los hijos de Dios.
Abstract
The reflection on ethical issues always maintains a heartfelt topicality in our social, cultural and religious environment. We know the cultural diversity and the plurality of thought that emerges in our society where our convictions and customs are strongly confronted and questioned. We know well that many young people today feel in the midst of uncertainty and doubt when it comes to acting in relation to their principles, their ways of life and their different ways of thinking.
The continuous inquiry about our certainties, principles and freedom requires a coherent rationality for the exercise of our actions in the midst of a particular society, strongly marked by plurality and multiculturalism. It is about revealing and relocating the true meaning of morality as a source of dynamism for the life of each human being from temporality and the transforming process of ethics. The reflection insists on the distinction of the dimensions of morality as an enlightenment to the conscience for human fulfillment, according to the uniqueness of each human being in the midst of a plural society.
This work offers some relevant elements in moral matters for the discernment of people's conscience, in the light of the moral reflections of the French thinker Xavier Thévenot. It is the permanent invitation of the Gospel of Christ to live as new men guided by the Spirit in the freedom of the children of God.
