Prototipo de vivienda modular productiva

Abstract

Modularity in rural housing makes it possible to build houses that are adaptable to each need of the regions and the ways of life of each family, based on the principles of economy, portability and climatic adaptability. Modularity is the set of wood and metal elements that, through simple joints, configure a construction system that allows meeting the basic needs of habitability, work and rest. Colombia, as an emerging country that is experiencing a social transition, has in its hands a wide field of possibilities for political, economic and social development, which can be expanded throughout its territory, especially in rural areas. The agricultural sector has lost prominence due to its low competitiveness and productivity. This situation undoubtedly forces us to think of strategies that aim at comprehensive rural development, leveraged by competitiveness, productivity and social justice. That is why the RURAL HOUSING PROTOTYPE project was born, seeking alternatives that improve the habitability conditions of the population through innovative technologies such as modularity, which allow maintaining the balance between man and the environment, optimizing the use of resources, labor, production and construction times and that integrates rural housing with agricultural dynamics.
