Dinámicas rurales en centros poblados de territorios fronterizos Corregimiento de Agua Clara, Municipio de Cúcuta en Norte de Santander

Abstract

The border margins between two or more countries constitute a transitional territory, susceptible to becoming the scene of positive exchanges or, failing that, of tensions and controversies depending on the socio-political situation of the neighboring countries due to the strong migratory flows of people who they go in search of a better quality of life, infringing on numerous occasions in illegal and dramatic inclusive actions. Undoubtedly, a phenomenon that leads to many arguments and that on several occasions is handled with a language of unequal points of view, in large subjective parts, typical of the actors and the disciplines involved in the subject. This is the case of the border between Colombia and Venezuela, specifically in the northeastern margin of the Norte de Santander Department. This degree work initially focuses on identifying the main components that dynamize the mobility, physical-built and environmental aspects of the territory, then interpreting their configuration schemes. Subsequently, reference is made to the informal dynamics between neighboring countries given through some shortcuts mentioned "trails", elements that make up a permeable border in this territory. In conclusion, some alternatives are contemplated to alleviate the situation, which envisage beneficial strategies based on the potentialities of the peri-urban areas concurrent with the settlements identified in the study surface, all of them urban centers afflicted by a good number of negative border dynamics. , as it happens in the town of Agua Clara, in the department of Norte de Santander, in this focal point of the case carried out in this sector bordering Venezuela.
