La Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá EAAB - ESP es una empresa prestadora del servicio de Acueducto y Alcantarillado sanitario y pluvial, comprometida con el medio ambiente por ende a lo largo su funcionamiento ha venido desarrollando proyectos con tecnologías que buscan disminuir los impactos generados al medio ambiente; teniendo como compromiso ambiental el cuidado y la preservación de alrededor de 40 mil hectáreas de la Reserva Natural Chingaza y 5000 ha en los cerros orientales.
La Empresa se encuentra constituida por nueve áreas, pero en cabeza de la Gerencia Corporativa Ambiental se encuentra la labor de protección, conservación y recuperación el recurso hídrico de la Capital tiene a su cargo el mantenimiento y cuidado de los 13 humedales; por ende, debe coordinar, diseñar, definir, asesorar y apoyar los lineamientos para dar control y mantenimiento a los humedales y quebradas en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Teniendo en cuenta que, la Reserva Distrital de Humedal Tibanica presenta déficit hídrico por las condiciones climáticas de la microcuenca de la quebrada Tibanica y por la ausencia de conectividad hidráulica con su fuente de agua natural, el presente documento tiene como objetivo plantear un análisis de alternativas para evitar la disminución del cuerpo de agua de la Reserva Distrital de Humedal Tibanica. El presente trabajo de pasantía se realizó en conjunto con la Dirección Gestión Ambiental del Sistema Hídrico, Gerencia Corporativa Ambiental quien dio acompañamiento y supervisión, considerándolo un proyecto útil para otros Humedales del Distrito, dando como resultado la opción mas viable teniendo en cuenta la calidad del agua y bajos costos en su construcción, el bombeo desde la estación la Isla.
Abstract
Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá EAAB - ESP is a company that provides water and sewage services, committed to the environment, therefore throughout its operation it has been developing projects with technologies that seek to reduce the impacts generated to the environment; having as environmental commitment the care and preservation of about 40 thousand hectares of the Chingaza Natural Reserve and 5 thousand in the eastern hills.
The Company is made up of nine areas, but the Corporate Environmental Management is in charge of the protection, conservation and recovery of the water resources of the Capital and is responsible for the maintenance and care of the 13 wetlands; therefore, it must coordinate, design, define, advise and support the guidelines to control and maintain the wetlands and streams in the city of Bogotá.
Considering that the Tibanica Wetland District Reserve has a water deficit due to the climatic conditions of the Tibanica Creek micro-watershed and the absence of hydraulic connectivity with its natural water source, this document aims to propose an analysis of alternatives to prevent the decrease of the water body of the Tibanica Wetland District Reserve. This internship work was carried out in conjunction with the Environmental Management of the Water System, Corporate Environmental Management who gave support and supervision, considering it a useful project for other wetlands in the District, resulting in the most viable option taking into account the water quality and low costs in its construction, the pumping from the Isla station.
