Latinoamérica, se ha caracterizado por tener altos índices de violencia contra las mujeres, problemática frente a la cual los Estados han venido trabajando, haciendo frente a esta desde el ámbito jurídico y social.
En Colombia, la violencia de género ha ido en aumento y pese a que se han creado mecanismos de protección, los mismos no comprenden de manera real la recuperación integral de la víctima, ni han permitido la disminución de las cifras frente a este flagelo.
Por lo anterior y apostándole a la construcción de manejo efectivo en cuanto a hace a las tipologías de violencia de género y feminicidio, se efectuará un análisis crítico en el que se confrontaran las diferencias y semejanzas entre la normatividad existente y el tratamiento aplicado en nuestro país y en el país de Brasil.
Abstract
Latin America has been characterized by having high rates of violence against women, a problem against which the states have been working, facing this from the legal and social sphere.
In Colombia, gender violence has been increasing and despite the fact that protection mechanisms have been created, they do not really understand the integral recovery of the victim, nor have they allowed the figures to decrease in the face of this scourge.
Due to the above and betting on the construction of effective management regarding the types of gender violence and feminicide, a critical analysis will be carried out in which the differences and similarities between the existing regulations and the treatment applied in our country will be confronted and in the country of Brazil.
