| dc.description | In this article, we reflect on the urgency of decolonizing the social sciences. It is necessary to create “other” ways of thinking, feeling and existing, which require constituting new types of knowledge and new “sciences”, whose categorical structure is based on the knowledge of the other, considered inferior, and not only in the episteme of the modern/colonial logos, considered superior. We characterize the decolonial doing, which is deployed through its constitutive actions/footsteps: communal contemplation, alternate conversing and configurative reflection, that characterize the decolonial vocation, which allows the detachment of the research methodology. | en |
| dc.description | En este artículo, reflexionamos sobre la urgencia de decolonizar las ciencias sociales. Es necesario crear formas “otras” de pensar, sentir y existir, lo cual requiere la configuración de nuevos tipos de conocimiento y nuevas “ciencias”, cuya estructura categorial se sustente en el saber del otro, considerado inferior, y no solo en la episteme del logos moderno/colonial, considerado superior. Caracterizamos el hacer decolonial, que se despliega mediante sus acciones/huellas constitutivas: contemplar comunal, conversar alterativo y reflexionar configurativo, las cuales caracterizan la vocación decolonial, que permite el desprendimiento de la metodología de investigación. | es |
