dc.descriptionLa evaluación psicológica desempeña un papel fundamental en la comprensión del comportamiento antisocial y delictivo, así como en el diseño e implementación del tratamiento penitenciario. En este sentido, se ha identificado una fuerte relación entre este tipo de comportamientos y dimensiones psicológicas como la impulsividad, la agresividad, la regulación emocional y la empatía, entre otras. Con base en esta idea, el objetivo del presente estudio es explorar y caracterizar las dinámicas de impulsividad, empatía, agresividad y regulación emocional en una muestra de 365 mujeres privadas de la libertad en la Cárcel y Penitenciaría con Alta y Media Seguridad para Mujeres de Bogotá, con el propósito de comprender sus posibles asociaciones y su potencial impacto sobre el comportamiento delictivo y el tratamiento penitenciario. A través de un diseño mixto compuesto por un componente comparativo de grupos naturales y un componente predictivo transversal, se utilizaron los instrumentos SUPPS-P y BIS-11 para evaluar impulsividad; RPQ y AQ para agresividad; IRI y EQ para empatía; y DERS para regulación emocional. En la dimensión de impulsividad, se encontraron con mayor frecuencia puntuaciones altas en búsqueda de sensaciones e impulsividad no planeada, bajos niveles de agresividad reactiva y proactiva, y altos en agresividad verbal y hostilidad. Respecto a las mediciones en empatía, se identificaron con mayor frecuencia puntuaciones altas en preocupación empática y toma de perspectiva, mientras que en regulación emocional, se identificaron bajas puntuaciones en todas las subescalas. A nivel asociativo, se identificaron covariaciones positivas entre las puntuaciones de agresividad, impulsividad y dificultades en regulación emocional, y covariaciones negativas entre estas tres y las puntuaciones en empatía. Finalmente, se discuten estos hallazgos en torno a la comprensión del comportamiento delictivo y sus implicaciones sobre el tratamiento penitenciario dirigido a reducir la probabilidad de reincidencia y promover la reinserción social.spa
