Este texto surge como respuesta a la necesidad de las directivas de la Universidad Santo Tomás, pero especialmente de los estudiantes de Preescolar y Primaria, quienes en su mayoría se desempeñan como docentes. Para todas las demás materias disponen de textos de didáctica, excepto para la religión.
La primera unidad analiza la naturaleza y fin de la didáctica de la religión, como un proceso al servicio del despertar y crecimiento de la actitud religiosa del niño. Se analiza igualmente las fuentes del mensaje cristiano y el alcance del compromiso de la fe. Se presentan algunos modelos de catequesis importantes a lo largo de la historia de la Iglesia. En la segunda unidad se define el concepto de educación para determinar su relación con la didáctica de la religión. Se analiza el perfil del maestro
cristiano y se propone a Jesucristo como el Maestro por excelencia. En la tercera unidad se determina la incidencia del proceso de la comunicación en la acción catequística. Se definen las formas del lenguaje de la Iglesia, y se proponen el lenguaje total y el lenguaje audiovisual como vehículos privilegiados del mensaje cristiano. La cuarta unidad está dedicada al estudio· de la metodología catequística. Se dan criterios de metodología general y de metodología catequística. Igualmente, se da información y criterios pedagógicos para la utilización de la dinámica de grupo, los audiovisuales, las actividades y las ayudas educativas en el proceso catequístico. En la quinta unidad se identifican las características psicológicas de los niños entre los O - 12 años y se proponen criterios metodológicos para la iniciación religiosa y acción catequística que debe desarrollarse en cada etapa cronológica.
El texto está dirigido a dos grupos de estudiantes cuyos campos de acción son distintos pero complementarios: el Preescolar y la Primaria. La parte doctrinal desarrollada en las tres primeras unidades es común para los dos grupos, ya que los principios. básicos de la didáctica de la religión son válidos para cualquier etapa de la vida humana~ Las diferencias se plantean en las unidades 4 y 5, en las cuales la metodología y la psicología evolutiva toman en cuenta las características específicas de los grupos infantiles.
Abstract
This text arises as a response to the need of the directives of the Universidad Santo Tomás, but especially of the students of Preschool and Elementary, who in their majority work as teachers. For all other subjects they have didactic texts, except for religion.
The first unit analyzes the nature and purpose of the didactics of religion, as a process at the service of the awakening and growth of the child's religious attitude. It also analyzes the sources of the Christian message and the scope of the commitment of faith. Some important models of catechesis throughout the history of the Church are presented. In the second unit, the concept of education is defined in order to determine its relationship with the teaching of religion. The profile of the teacher is analyzed
Christian and proposes Jesus Christ as the Master par excellence. In the third unit, the impact of the communication process on catechetical action is determined. It defines the forms of the language of the Church, and proposes total language and audiovisual language as privileged vehicles of the Christian message. The fourth unit is dedicated to the study of catechetical methodology. Criteria of general methodology and catechetical methodology are given. Likewise, information and pedagogical criteria are given for the use of group dynamics, audiovisuals, activities, and educational aids in the catechetical process. In the fifth unit, the psychological characteristics of the children between the ages of O - 12 are identified and methodological criteria are proposed for religious initiation and catechetical action to be developed in each chronological stage.
The text is addressed to two groups of students whose fields of action are different but complementary: Preschool and Primary School. The doctrinal part developed in the first three units is common to both groups, since the basic principles of the didactics of religion are valid for any stage of human life~ The differences are presented in units 4 and 5, in which the methodology and evolutionary psychology take into account the specific characteristics of the children's groups.
