The booklet “El Camino de los Dedos” addresses visual impairment and the Braille system in detail, facilitating both theoretical understanding and practical application. It is structured in four chapters: introduction to visual impairment, teaching Braille, methodology and strategies, and practical activities and applications. In addition, it is supported by practical activities, interesting facts, and “Did you know” information, thus facilitating practice and active learning. Finally, recommendations for educators and families are presented, highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach adapted to individual needs to promote autonomy and the comprehensive development of people with visual impairments.
