    The metaverse understood as the application of digital technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) among others, in the creation of virtual universes that will offer channels for social relationships for a sin number of activities, such as entertainment, socialization, business, education among many more. The concept of the metaverse has been developing for at least 3 decades, mainly from science fiction, books such as Snow Crash, by Neal Stephenson, published by the year 1992 and films such as the Matrix saga, since 1999. In the present investigation, will address the object of study from the perspective of education, an area in which and as a result of the pandemic it has been impacted and challenged from the integration of these technologies in its didactic processes, through a state of the art it will be carried out an analysis that will show the progress in terms of the practical use of metaverses in education, as well as identify their trends.

    Currently, the web series scenario has been revolutionizing the context of conventional advertising, connecting with short stories through which brands seek to interact with their users through social networks, especially YouTube. It is in this scenario where the study of the regulation of emotions becomes pertinent through the induction of discrete emotions, to study behavioral alterations, as well as the influence of stimuli on purchase and consumption preferences. The objective of the research project focuses on identifying the physiological and cognitive characteristics of the emotional response induced by the exposure of branded webseries in a sample of young people between 18 and 25 years of age in the city of Bogotá. The results are expected to be able to validate a battery of fragments of emotion-inducing webseries, which will allow us to provide reliable data in understanding their operation and their implications in the decision making and election processes of the promoted brands, through this audiovisual format. consciously and responsibly.
